Denver Broncos defensive back Chris Harris was injured during this weekend’s win over the San Diego Chargers in the AFC divisional round of the playoffs and it appears that the team is preparing to hear some bad news.

Broncos head coach John Fox said that Harris’ injury was the “only and most significant” from the win, so they could be without him moving forward in the postseason.

From Mike Klis of the Denver Post:

"There is fear Harris has suffered a serious knee injury and if realized, the Broncos would have to play without one of their most invaluable defensive players Sunday against the New England Patriots — and Super Bowl XLVIII if the Broncos make it that far."

If the Broncos are without Harris, they would have to look further back the depth chart for a replacement.

The Broncos are also expected to be without safety Rahim Moore for at least another week, so New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady could be staring down a wounded Broncos secondary next weekend when the two teams meet in the AFC Championship game.
