When injured and currently sidelined Boston Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo tweeted out a cryptic message to his followers, fans everywhere began dichphering the tweet as a return date for the All-Star. While no specific nor definitive date has been give for Rondo’s return, it seems Friday is the date all Celtics fans are looking towards.

Head coach Brad Stevens commented Tuesday on the likelihood that Rondo could return at the end of the work week to face the Los Angeles Lakers. He failed to confirm a return date for the guard but did say that not only will Rondo go through a physical test tomorrow, there’s a chance he will indeed play on Friday.

Stevens’ comments, as well that cryptic tweet by Rondo, means that buzz about a return will only continue to mount until Friday finally arrives. Should Rondo pass his physical on Wednesday though, there likely won’t be any more hurdles between the star guard and a return to action on Friday.
