When the Boston Celtics lost Rajon Rondo last year, we didn’t know when he was going to return. Much like the Derrick Rose ACL drama of last year, this year has been filled with Rondo return questions all season long, but those questions may have been answered.

Celtics fans are abuzz today after their star point guard sent out a cryptic tweet that everyone is interpreting as a return date for Rondo. The tweet was nothing more than Rondo tweeting out a bunch of numbers, but after doing the math, there might be something to it.

To the untrained brain, these are just numbers but after doing the math, 29,233,380 seconds it seems to suggest Rondo is leading us up to the tip off for the Boston Celtics game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday.

There have been mounting rumors about Rondo’s return in recent days, with the time frame being anywhere between next week and after the All-Star Break. We can now add this coming Friday to the list of dates when Rondo is rumored to return, but we won’t know for sure when he’s coming back until he actually hits the court.
