Lakers at Suns final score: Phoenix wins 121-114

Gerald Green scored 28 points, grabbed seven rebounds, dished out two assists and had two steals as the Phoenix Suns handed the Los Angeles Lakers their sixth straight loss with a 121-114 victory at the US Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday night.

Markieff Morris came off of the Sun’s bench to score 24 points, grab seven rebounds and dish out four assists while Channing Frye had 20 points and eight rebounds, Goran Dragic had 18 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists and two steals and P.J. Tucker added 15 points, eight rebounds and four assists.

The Lakers were led by veteran forward Pau Gasol, who finished with 24 points, nine rebounds, five assists and a blocked shot.

Wesley Johnson added 22 points and five rebounds, Kendall Marshall had 10 points and 13 assists and Chris Kaman came off of the bench to score 18 points and grab five rebounds.

Nick Young finished with nine points in just 11 minutes because he was ejected after he shoved and punched Suns’ players after he was fouled hard by Suns’ rookie center Alex Len in the second quarter. Young shoved Len, was shoved back and took a swing at Dragic.

Len was issued a flagrant 2 and also ejected (You can see the video here).

Not only have the Lakers’ lost six straight games, but it was their 12th loss in their last 13 games.

The Suns improved to 22-16 while the Lakers fell to 14-25.
