The Minnesota Vikings and Cleveland Browns are the last two teams in the NFL conducting their head coaching searches. While the Browns search to fill their vacancy has no end in sight, the Vikings search could be nearing an end.

Cincinnati Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer has been considered the favorite to receive the Vikings job, and he is one step closer to getting the gig with his second meeting in Minnesota coming on Wednesday.

According to the National Football Post, Zimmer’s second interview has already been conducted.

Zimmer has never been a head coach throughout his NFL career, but he has experience running the defense with the Bengals, Atlanta Falcons and Dallas Cowboys.

It will be interesting to see how Zimmer can perform when he takes on more duties, but the Vikings appear to be confident that he is the right man for the job.
