When the Boston Celtics excused guard Keith Bogans this week for what was officially called ‘personal reasons’, there was a question of when he would be back with the team. Celtics head coach Brad Stevens addressed the issue on Wednesday and stated the team is unsure of when the team will bring Bogans back.

That’s not a definitive answer one way or the other, but it certainty don’t sound like the Celtics are leaning towards brining Bogans back soon. The guard has been complaining lately about not getting enough minutes, and given the fact that this year is the only year of his three-year contract that is guaranteed, many are thinking that Boston could just cut their losses and buyout or trade Bogans.
It’s not likely that the team would just cut him loose, but they’re paying him to not play right now, which may be Boston seeing if that’s a situation they can get used to in the long run.
