LaMarcus Aldridge poured in 32 points, grabbed 18 rebounds and dished out four assists as the Portland Trail Blazers defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 108-96 at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon Wednesday night.

Aldridge wasn’t the only Blazers’ star to have a big night. Point guard Damian Lillard scored 28 points, grabbed six rebounds, dished out five assists and had two steals. Wesley Matthews scored 15 points while Nicolas Batum added seven points, nine rebounds and six assists.

Rookie C.J. McCollum had two points on one-of-three shooting in 12 minutes.

The Cavaliers should still be somewhat upbeat after their prized acquisition, forward Luol Deng, scored 25 points, grabbed six rebounds, had three steals and dished out two assists.

Kyrie Irving poured in 21 points and four assists and Anderson Varejao had eight points, 14 rebounds, four assists, three steals and two blocks.

Dion Waiters added 18 points, but shot just eight-of-19 from the field.

They took the lead twice more at 89-88 and 94-93, but the Blazers had an answer every time. After an Aldridge three gave the Blazers the lead back at 96-94,Varejao tied the game. The Blazers ended the game on a 12-0 run on six straight Aldridge points and back-to-back threes by Matthews and Lillard.

The Blazers are now 29-9 while the Cavaliers are 14-25.
