The New Orleans Pelicans have struggled in recent years but with the additions of Jrue Holiday and Tyreke Evans, not to mention the emergence of Anthony Davis, things are finally starting to look up.

I’m guessing that may be why this fan decided to get his groove on during Thursday night’s contest between the Houston Rockets and the previously mentioned Pelicans.

With New Orleans nursing a eight-point lead in the fourth quarter, Houston center Dwight Howard found himself at the free throw line.

The stoppage in play gave the fan plenty of time to bust out his favorite moves and bust them out did he ever.

Somewhat elderly, the man was already dancing before television cameras picked him up and he continued once he realized the crowd was behind him. Cheers rang through the building when he was placed on the jumbotron, giving him plenty of incentive to boogie down before eventually ending the hilarious dance as game action resumed.

Clearly out of breath, the fan then began texting on his phone – likely answering messages from friends and family who just witnessed the dance-a-thon at home.
