It’s no secret that Peyton Manning is one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever put on an NFL uniform. Manning and his Broncos are preparing themselves for another showdown against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. This time around it’ll be in Manning’s yard instead of Brady’s.

Not only is he one of the top quarterbacks in the game, but he’s obviously one of the most respected players in the league. There are a handful of veterans who can voice their opinion’s and everybody will stop what their doing and listen to every word.

Now according to ESPN.com and NFL on ESPN’s Facebook page, Peyton Manning has been voted as the most respected player in the NFL by his peers.

"“I don’t know about all the votes, or how it was done, but I certainly appreciate those players…feeling that way. I think team success is the No. 1 thing, and that’s about the time you put in, the work you put in as a team to reach goals, to execute, to put yourselves in position. I guess I’ve always felt like individual things are nice and you’re thankful, but the success of your team, that’s what is at the heart of everything.” Manning told ESPN.com."

Manning beat out Tom Brady, Adrian Peterson, Calvin Johnson, Drew Brees, London Fletcher and Aaron Rodgers. He was also picked as the one player people would choose to start a team with.
