The Baltimore Ravens had some early depth concerns at tight end when their stars at the position suffered injuries during training camp. The Ravens reached out to former Indianapolis Colts tight end Dallas Clark and signed him to a one-year deal.

Now at 34, he is heading into free agency and is undecided whether to pursue playing in 2014 or to retire.

Clark was effective for the Ravens catching 31 pass for 343 yards. That is an 11.1 yards per catch average. He also scored three touchdowns.

Alex Marvez states that the right situation could persuade Clark to stay, meaning potentially a playoff contender like the New England Patriots who find themselves often dealing with injuries at the position. It would seem like Clark might consider returning to the Colts if they reached out as well.
