Green Bay Packers fullback John Kuhn is one of the top lead blockers in the game, who also has the ability to carry the ball and be a reliable third-down back. He is also a fan favorite in Green Bay and chats of his last name are deafening in the stadium every time he touches the ball.

However, Kuhn is set to become a free agent in March.

There is a real chance that another team interested in Kuhn’s services could come sweeping in on the open market and make an offer to lure Kuhn away from Lambeau that he couldn’t resist, but the Packers won’t give up easily.

While they may not be willing to open up the check book for their fullback, the Green Bay Press-Gazette is reporting that the team is interested in re-signing Kuhn for the veteran minimum.

If the team were to bring Kuhn back at the veteran minimum, it would cost the team around $855,000.
