The San Francisco 49ers boarded a plane on Friday night en route to Washington where they’ll take on the Seattle Seahawks in Sunday’s NFC Championship.

But before they departed, 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick was stopped by a special visitor. A fan who had a ‘Kaepernicking’ tattoo on his leg.

The 49ers signal caller was understandably taken back by the tattoo (and probably a little creeped out, much like LeBron James was over his ‘special’ fan) but did what any good athlete would do and autographed the fan’s leg.

Seriously – that’s some dedication. It’s crazy enough to get a tattoo of a team logo (because those do eventually change in some form), but of a player? And a player who hasn’t played more than a couple seasons in the league?

That’s going to be one expensive laser treatment if Kapernick eventually lands on another team in free agency down the road.

It works for now though. And hopefully Colin was kind enough to autograph something else so his long signature didn’t wash off in the shower.
