The Denver Broncos and the New England Patriots are getting ready to go to battle for the second time this year but with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line.

The last time these two teams met, it looked as if the Broncos were going to coast their way to another victory. Something they were very comfortable with during the regular season. But Tom Brady being, Tom Brady, wouldn’t allow his team to give up just yet.

The game would go into overtime and end after Denvers’ special teams unit slipped up during a punt return. The ball touched a member of the return team and was recovered by the New England Patriots. This set up the game winning score and left Peyton Manning/Broncos speechless.

Denver is the home team this time around and have proven to be a tough team to beat while they’re the hosts of the contest. They’re going to need all hands on deck, both offensively and defensively if they want to reach the Super Bowl for the first time since 1998. They won against the Atlanta Falcons.

Veteran corner Champ Bailey was held out for a handful of games this year due to an injury. They already have Chris Harris being sidelined with a knee injury so Champ will have to take a bigger role with this defense.

Bailey was limited to under 30 snaps during last weeks game but doesn’t expect to be limited during the AFC Championship game according to USA Today.

"“The pitch count doesn’t exist this week. Whatever it takes.” Bailey told reporters via USA Today."
