A few of the best players that college basketball has to offer will be on display Saturday afternoon as the ninth-ranked Oklahoma State Cowboys travel to Lawrence to take on the Kansas Jayhawks in a Big 12 Conference match up.

Marcus Smart and the Cowboys come into this one at 15-2 overall on the season and 3-1 in conference play. Behind the dynamic play of Smart, the Cowboys are 12th in the nation in scoring at 84.8 points per game. Smart himself is averaging over 17.

Since being upset by the Kansas State Wildcats back on Jan. 4, Oklahoma State has won their last three, including their blowout win over TCU earlier this week.

Kansas, led by freshman Andrew Wiggins and his 15.8 points per game, come into this one at 12-4 on the season and have won their last three. Although lately, it’s been another freshman in Joel Embiid that’s been stealing the show with his 10.9 points and 7.4 rebounds per game, actually leading some to believe that it may be him who’s actually the best overall player in the nation.

There’s certainly enough star power on the floor in this one as the month of March draws nearer.
