The Denver Broncos are fighting for a chance to make it to the Super Bowl this year, and offensive coordinator Adam Gase is focused on finding a away to stifle the Patriots defense. Meanwhile over in Cleveland, the Browns remain focused on something too — luring in Gase to become the team’s next head coach.

Reports have begun to surface though that Gase, the Browns one and seemingly only option for head coach, may elect to return to Denver next season rather than dive into a toxic cesspool in Cleveland. Dan Quinn’s name has surfaced again in connection to the job because of this, but Jason LaCanfora from CBS Sports reports that the Browns remain committed to finding out what Gase wants to do before making any decisions.

"The Cleveland Browns still would like to interview Broncos offensive coordinator Adam Gase for their vacant head coaching position, league sources said, and remain high on Seattle defensive coordinator Dan Quinn as well, who was the first coach they met with three weeks ago."

The Browns could theoretically miss on both candidates as leaving your job riding Peyton Manning’s coattails or leaving your job running the best defense in the NFL for the Cleveland Browns doesn’t seem like a wise career move.
