Nike founder Phil Knight is a famous Oregon Ducks alum that has practically built the school into what it is today with his contributions throughout the years. Nike created the famous Michael Jordan brand, “JumpMan.”

So, what happens when you put these two together and mix them into one gigantic, scholastic-athletic pot?

Well, you get the “JumpDuck”:

As if it wasn’t enough that the entire Oregon athletic department practically gets first dibs on all the latest Nike gear by default, now they have their own logo.

Although, you have to admit, it’s a pretty cool idea and rather surprising that it took them this long to put it all together.

Now, with their new logo, maybe the Oregon basketball can focus on putting some things together as they’re currently 1-3 in the Pac-12 Conference and are getting set for a showdown with Oregon State.

Maybe the new JumpDuck logo will inspire the team to start picking up the pace in the Pac-12 and help them make a run in March.

Or, at the very least, they’ll have a neat logo to show off while failing to do so.
