Richard Sherman post-game interview (Video)

Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman is widely regarded as the best cornerback in the game and he came up with his biggest play of the season on Sunday night, as the Seattle Seahawks clinched a spot in Super Bowl XLVIII over the San Francisco 49ers.

After the game, Sherman was stopped by Erin Andrews for a post-game interview and he was certainly intense. Humble? Not so much.

Sherman began shouting about he is the best before telling 49ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree never to come at it again. Andrews appeared shell-shocked during the interview as Sherman continued to go on.

It was a spectacular moment.

Seattle will now meet the Denver Broncos on Feb. 2, with the Lombardi Trophy on the line.

Classless loudmouth as usual, good fit for Seattle

      Don’t be a sore loser … That was a great play! L O B!

      • Karin Van Dalen

Great play maybe, but he could have been a bit more humble.

        • J Marie

Shouldn’t have shoved a microphone in his face minutes after a huge play and expect him not to respond to Crabtree’s trash talk about him last week and shoving him in the face after the big play! Poor 40whiners :’(

          • Karin Van Dalen

FYI I’m not a niners or Seahawks fan so I could care less who won or lost. But being in that line of work, they have to expect the press to be there. It happens after every game. I’ve seen many Seahawks fans who think he was being nasty. There’s a thing called being a sore winner too and that is what he was.

          • J Marie

Crabtree was trash talking on the field, last week and pre season, he shoved Sherman in the face when he had his hand out to him. Crabtree is a sore loser. Sherman gave a calm interview 15 minutes after the one that was right off the field. This is football, not golf, all the teams talk smack…classless is the guy who clothes lined one of our players on the sidelines, not even sure why this is news.

    Priceless – what a character

  • Jethro Bodine

Someone put this boy back in the jungle.

    • Corey Beauford

and you have the nerve to comment on HIS character? very classy on your part!

      • Jethro Bodine

Don’t you have some chicken to fry?

        • Corey Beauford

“yawning” have a nice night, jethro bodine

    • Jeff Brown

Someone put “Jethro” back in the trailer park. Yuck.

    • J Marie

Wow, who’s classless now?! That has to be one of the dumbest comments I’ve ever read!

  • lancasterco

Manning is going to destroy the Seahawks.

    • Corey Beauford

i don’t know about that. beast mode is playing like a champ!

    • Kluyasufoya

      27-10 denver

  • kj

It would be nice if the NFL would publicly ask Sherman what “M.O.B.” stands for. It makes the nice pink towls stand for nothing. Misogynist S.O.B.

    • James Harden

it’s LOB dumb dumb, not MOB. it stands for Legion of Boom

      • kj

Missed the “L.” What is the context for LOB?

        • James Harden

legion of boom is the name given to the seahawks secondary. Its made up of the 2 safeties and the 2 cornerbacks. a lot of people misheard “LOB” As “MOB” due to him yelling

  • omomma

Guy should wait ’til the game juice wears off before talking to a reporter..

    • Corey Beauford

i agree. most players are way too amped when reporters shove mics in their faces

  • Robert Higgs

how are you gonna call this a “spectacular moment”? this was totally classless and unsportsmanlike. reprehensible, childlike behavior.

    • Abhaya

I was hoping for the response 99% of every football player says in an interview, “We played hard, the other team should be respected, and I want to thank god.”

But we got an honest, pumped up reaction to the game….sometimes people just don’t do what you want them to do….LIVE WITH IT. TOLERATE IT. MOVE ON!

  • Jeff Brown

Editor-in-chief might want to fix that bio … not sure “Seton Hill” has an accredited journalism program.

  • AMS

Sherman you are just cold diarrhea on a paper plate.

    • Corey Beauford

who can buy and sell you – and he has a degree from Stanford. ouch, you really hurt his feelings!

  • Jim C

He is nuthin but a punk. End of story.

    • Devon Patrice

says the one talking through the computer

      • Kluyasufoya

  • CommonSense

Regardless of your team affiliation, this full-of-yourself behavior shouldn’t be acceptable. Pretty disgraceful, actually.

  • Nate

It was a good play but nobody needs to act like a 13 year old after a play that happens every week in the regular season. He is just as big a punk as Colin. They should play together!

  • Matt Spielvogle

I think it’s time for a crack back block.

  • kdub

So these players can hit each other week end and week out..but as a player says what Richard said there is a problem? Want classy..watch golf.

  • Luis Hernandez

Hop all up on that addy

  • UnclDon

Peyton Manning has more class in the stiches in his neck than Richard Sherman will ever have

  • Cee Gee

    Loud and ignit!

  • Cee Gee

Inferiority complex. If you’re good and you know it, do you need to say it?

  • Cee Gee

    I mean shout it.
