Trail Blazers at Rockets final score: Houston rolls 126-113

Led by Chandler Parsons, who scored a season and game-high 31 points, the Houston Rockets defeated the Portland Trail Blazers  126-113 at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas on Monday night.

Parsons shot 12-of-19 from the field and had 10 rebounds, seven assists and two blocks for the Rockets, who were in command throughout.  The Rockets’ offense could not be stopped – they scored at least 34 points in each of the first three quarters and entered the final quarter with a 106-93 lead.

Dwight Howard had 24 points, 12 rebounds and three assists, James Harden scored 22 points, Patrick Beverly had 17 points and Omri Casspi added 15 points and eight rebounds.

Despite shooting just 11-of-26 from the field, LaMarcus Aldridge filled the stat sheet, leading the Blazers, who saw their five-game winning streak come to an end, with 27 points, 20 rebounds, three assists and, two steals and a block.

Damian Lillard scored 24 points and dished out five assists while Wesley Matthews scored 18 points and Robin Lopez added 13.

The win improves the Rockets to 28-15 while the loss drops the Blazers to 31-10.
