It’s been a few days since New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick called out former player and current Denver Broncos wide receiver Wes Welker for what he believed was a dirty and illegal hit.

So it’s possible Belichick may have had time to reflect and isn’t as furious as he seemed to be in his post game press conference.

Or probably not, especially considering this uncomfortable handshake which was captured moments after the AFC Championship game ended.

Welker was greeting Patriots – many of them former teammates when he rushed across the field to shake the hand of his former head coach. Belichick wasn’t nearly as accommodating – quickly sticking out his hand whiile mouthing something to Welker. The Broncos wideout didn’t seem overly enthused after shaking Belichick’s hand, especially given he had just secured a birth in the Super Bowl.

Granted, Belichick isn’t exactly the most warm and fuzzy type of guy anyway (though he did seek out Peyton Manning), but that wasn’t a typical glare either.
