There are a lot of perks that come with a trip to the Super Bowl. But of course, there is also a lot of irrittation – like being forced to speak to the media when that’s not exactly something you’re a big fan of doing.

Case in point? Seattle Seahawks running back and well known Skittles lover, Marshawn Lynch.

The former Cal product was speaking to a Japanese television station recently and informed the host that he uses Skittles in a medicinal way, telling her they help his upset stomach. The use of Skittles for Lynch has went so far, the Seahawks medical staff stocks their supplies with bags of Skittles for the game.

"“It’s almost like we use it because we know it helps my stomach, so we put it with the rest of the medicine. So, it’s right next to the Advil, the lip balm, the tape, it’s next to all that.”"

It might help the upset stomach, but it’s certainly got to put a ding in his dentist bill.
