DeMar DeRozan poured in 40 points on 15-of-22 shooting as the Toronto Raptors rallied for a 93-85 victory over the Dallas Mavericks at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario Wednesday night.

Greivis Vasquez added 17 points, seven assists and three steals off of the bench and Jonas Valanciunas had 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Raptors, who are now one game over .500.

Monta Ellis had 23 points and six assists for the Mavericks.

The Mavericks opened the game with a 34-point fourth quarter, but it was downhill from there, culminating in a fourth quarter in which the Raptors held them to 12 points.  The Mavericks entered the final quarter with a five-point lead and immediately extended it to eight, but were outscored 25-9 for the rest of the period.

Jose Calderon scored 13 points, dished out five assists and grabbed four rebounds and Brandan Wright scored 13 points off of the bench for the Mavericks, who couldn’t muster enough offense to make up for the absence of Dirk Nowitzki, who got the night off to rest after playing 10 games in the last 16 days.

The Raptors are now 21-20 while the Mavericks are 25-19.
