The red hot Wichita State Shockers will look to keep their string of success going on Wednesday as they go on the road for a Missouri Valley Conference contest against the Illinois State Redbirds.

Wichita State pushed their overall record for the 2013-14 season to 19-0 as they pulled off yet another win, this time a blowout over Indiana State. Despite a few close calls here and there, the Shockers have managed to remain unblemished on the season and are looking poised to make another unforgettable run this March, especially if they can keep controlling the ball like they have as they rank 24th in the country in rebounding at 39.7 per game.

Illinois State comes in looking for the huge upset at 11-7 overall and 4-2 in the Missouri Valley. They’ll also be looking to avenge a previous loss to these Shockers in their first meeting of the season on Jan. 8, 66-47. Since that loss, however, they’ve rattled off three straight wins, so they have a little bit of confidence for this one.
