The Seattle Seahawks have the loudest fans in not only the NFL, but the world. They proved it twice this season when breaking the crowd noise record.

The folks over at FOX Sports decided to see if they could have some fun, betting coaches of Seattle youth football league $5,000 they couldn’t stay quiet long enough though. They made it to that final play when cornerback Richard Sherman deflected a pass and they went crazy.

Therefore they lost the bet, and some kids got screwed out of equipment. Then Joel Klatt came out and announced that they had in fact won $50,000 regardless. Still what a way to torture some hardcore fans for arguably their team’s biggest game. At least they can watch the Super Bowl and be as loud as they want to be.

At least FOX Sports came through in the end regardless of whether they were silent the whole game.
