The NBA trade deadline is coming up quickly, as we have under month for teams to decide what they want to do when the deadline arrives. One of those teams is the Sacramento Kings who, despite making a trade earlier this year that landed them Rudy Gay, are still looking to make moves.

According to Steve Kyler from Basketball Insiders, the Kings are still looking to trade Marcus Thornton as he remains on the trade block for the team.

Wanting to move Thornton and actually being able to do so are two wildly different things. Thornton has been on the block since November, and so far the Kings have been unable to find a suitor for him. Part of the problem in moving Thornton could be the $16 million on his contract over this year and next year.

Thornton is due around $8.5 million next year on top of the $8 million the Kings are paying him this season, and those are figure that teams have clearly deemed unattractive in a trade.
