NFL Draft rumors are starting to kick into full force, as we get ready for draft season to go into full force. One of the most intriguing teams at the top of the draft will be the St. Louis Rams, who hold the No. 2 overall pick and could influence how the remainder of the draft plays out.

If St. Louis goes with offensive tackle Jake Matthews, the teams below them will still have their main targets on the board. However, St Louis could always change things up and go with Jadeveon Clowney or one of the top quarterbacks.

Then, there is the trade option.

If St. Louis has their way, it appears that they will trade back in the draft with one of the teams hoping to get a top signal-caller or Clowney at the top of the draft.

“After speaking with those contacts, the St. Louis Rams are definitely looking to trade down from the second-overall pick. The Rams feel that in order for a good trade market to develop, they need two quarterback prospects to emerge from the group of Louisville’s Teddy Bridgewater, Central Florida’s Blake Bortles, Texas A&M’s Johnny Manziel and Fresno State’s Derek Carr,” said Charlie Campbell of WalterFootball.com.

The Cleveland Browns have reportedly been interested in trading up to select Johnny Manziel, so that is a potential trade partner for St. Louis.

It will be interesting to see how it all plays out, so we will have to keep an eye on the Rams in the coming months.
