Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Darrelle Revis is enjoying his time in Hawaii for the 2014 Pro Bowl, but he is still looking forward to next season where he can get back on the field in a meaningful game to prove that he is still the best cornerback in the game
Revis was playing his first season since suffering a torn ACL, while Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman emerged as the top corner in the league.
However, now that Revis’ knee is healthy, he is ready to get back to the top.
“I’m 100 percent, man,” Revis said, via JoeBucsFan.com. “I feel real great. You know, through the course of the year it got stronger week to week. And I’m just trying to continue to improve and get back to where I used to play great ball.”
Revis said that his knee continued to bother him throughout the season, but at 100 percent he will be able to get back to the level he was when he was the most feared defensive back in the NFL.
With Lovie Smith taking over in Tampa Bay, Revis appears poised to have a great bounce back year in 2014.
