Have you ever sat back and wondered what the world of professional wrestling would be like if they introduced instant replay just like other sports did or have? Yeah, I said it once again, professional wrestling is a sport. It’s labeled as sports entertainment, but has the word sport in it.

Sure the show is scripted and played out, but what if they added the ability for refs to review certain things. There have been a lot of huge matches that had some outside interference or blown calls by referees that can not be overturned.

But the WWE has released a YouTube video of some of those key moments that could have been reviewed and overturned if the company had instant replay. It would somewhat be like professional baseball, basketball or football. Thankfully they’re able to review specific plays even though they still make tough decisions.

In my opinion, I think it would be a bad idea and a waste of time. The fact that people interfere and control what happens during a match is part of the show. As a professional wrestling fan, you want to be able to tune into the next event to see what happens after someone screwed another out of a title/regular match.

Stuff like this is what helps build story-lines. But it’s always something that could be entertained if Vince McMahon and company want to go that direction.

Here’s a look at the video that the WWE posted on their YouTube page.
