The Minnesota Vikings didn’t have a great offense last year and that’s being nice about it. Adrian Peterson remained the sole method of any serious type of production, and while there were some hopeful flashes form Cordarrelle Patterson, the Vikings offense overall stunk in 2013.

Norv Turner has been brought in as the team’s new offensive coordinator to right the ship, and Peterson seems to be fully onboard with the idea.

Per Tom Pelissero and USA Today:

"“I’ll tell you, our pass offense has really struggled in the past couple years. I think [Turner] is going to be the perfect guy to come in and get us on the right path.”"

Having the best player on the team onboard with your hiring is a giant step forward for Turner. It’s not as though players were going to have a problem with his hiring, but to have Adrian Peterson back him up from the very start shows a good relationship is budding between the two. Vikings fans can only hope that’s the case, as their offense needs to turn around and do so rather quickly.
