For the first time in ages, Sunday’s NFL Pro Bowl was actually competitive. Of course, it still had that ‘Pro Bowl feel’ to it, but players seemingly took it serious and were laying out some pretty nasty hits.

Few were harder than the blow delivered by Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Derrick Johnson who spearheaded teammate Jamaal Charles. Even funnier? He tweeted after the game that the hit ‘felt pretty good’.

"Have to give my fellow teammate some friendly fire. LOL! I can’t lie, it felt pretty good! #probowl"

Not feeling good? Just about everybody on the Kansas City Chiefs coaching staff or front office.

Thankfully, Charles wasn’t hurt (easy for me to say) and continued to play on and the two seemed to have some fun over the knock.

Charles, for what it’s worth, said it was just football and he wasn’t mad at Johnson, suggesting he was just doing his job.

"“I didn’t expect it, but he’s out there doing his thing,” said Charles. “I can’t get mad at him—it’s just about football and you’ve just got to be ready.”"
