The Baltimore Ravens are expected to name their offensive coordinator o Monday and in the 11th hour it seems a this candidate has emerged in the search. After a weekend that saw Jim Hostler and Kyle Shanahan narrowed down to the finalists, Adam Schefter is reporting that former Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak is in the running to become Jim Caldwell’s replacement on John Harbaugh’s staff.

Kubiak has been mentioned for the Cleveland Browns job as well, but so far there hasn’t been a ton of movement on that front. That has led to Kubiak being mentioned in connection with the Ravens job although it’s unclear to tell just how serious a candidate he is.

The fact that his name was mentioned as a candidate on the morning the hire is going to be made might be significant, as at the end of the day it could be someone other than Hostler or Shanahan stepping into Baltimore’s offensive coordinator role.
