Super Bowl Media Day is taking place today at the Prudential Center in New Jersey and one of the biggest story lines throughout the morning was whether or not Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch would attend the event.

After weighing his options, Lynch has decided to show up for his Media Day obligations and avoid a $100,000 fine.

Lynch has never been a big fan of speaking with the media, but it is mandatory for players in the Super Bowl to show up and speak with the media for a one-hour session.

But while Lynch is present for the one-hour session, don’t expect him to say much.

Some of Lynch’s teammates are expecting the running back to be very short with his answers and there is even a chance that he could give simple one-word responses. He is saving his “beast mode” for the field on Super Bowl Sunday.
