Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton manning took the podium for Super Bowl Media Day, and the flock of media members immediately came to podium No. 2. One of the first questions that Manning was asked was about his legacy, which is something that he is still not ready to discuss.

“I’ve been being asked about my legacy since I was about 25 years old. I’m not sure you can have a legacy when you’re 25 years old, or even 37. I thought you had to be like 70 to have a legacy. I’m not 100 percent sure what the word even means.

“I’m still in the middle of my career. Let me rephrase that: I’m down the home stretch of my career, but I’m still in it. It’s not over yet. It’s still playing out. This has been the second chapter of my career, and it’s an exciting chapter, and I’m certainly excited to be back in the Super Bowl on behalf of the Denver Broncos.”

Regardless of the result of today’s game, Manning will go down as one of the best signal-callers to ever play the game.
