Seahawks’ Marshawn Lynch won’t be fined

Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch isn’t a fan of talking to the media. He had to attend media day to avoid a $100,000 fine and apparently lasted about six minutes before hiding from the media.

Early indications are that he won’t be fined.
Initial word from league officials is that Marshawn Lynch’s 7 minutes of participation is good enough. Sets a horrible precedent.

Super Bowl Media Day is less and less about the media. When league accepts that players can leave early, this idea is over.

“Players are required to participate and he participated,” league spokesman Greg Aiello told ESPN.com.
