Super Bowl Media Day, which takes place Tuesday at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, is always one of the most interesting and entertaining events during Super Bowl week. As we prepare for the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks players participating to take the podium, there is already a story brewing.

According to multiple reports, Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is considering skipping the event.

Lynch has never been a fan of speaking to the media, so it wouldn’t come as a big surprise, but there could be some big financial implications.

After refusing to speak with the media during the season, Lynch was fined $50,000 by the league. However, the fine was suspended with the understanding that he would attend all media events moving forward.

If Lynch skips out on Media Day, he will have to pay that $50,000, along with an additional $50,000 for the latest infraction.

So the question remains: Will Marshawn Lynch skip Media Day?

Considering the fact that Skittles just announced a charity auction and new product to celebrate Lynch and the Seahawks, we have a sneaking suspicion that he will be there.
