When the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia kick off, it is only a matter of time until curling fever sweeps the nation. Every four years, Americans begin talking about curling as it airs in the Olympic Games, but very few people are aware of the actual rules.

That is where San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis can help you out.

Davis, who was named an honorary captain for the United States curling team, stopped by Arsenio Hall’s talk show on Wednesday night to teach the host and his audience how to master the sport.

After being introduced to the sport four years ago and also being an honorary captain for the 2010 Winter Games in Vancouver, Davis has been an advocate of curling and his passion and knowledge of the sport shines through.
