Hawks at 76ers final score: Atlanta rolls 125-99

Mike Scott and Elton Brand had huge games off of the bench as the Atlanta Hawks rolled past the Philadelphia 76ers 125-99 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Friday night.

Scott scored 18 points, grabbed nine rebounds and dished out four assists and Brand finished with 18 points and eight rebounds.

Atlanta had a six-point lead after one quarter, took a 12-point lead into the break and blew the game open after the half, outscoring the 76ers 38-23 in the third quarter.

In total, five other Hawks, DeMarre Carroll (13), Paul Millsap (12), Jeff Teague (12), Louis Williams (12) and Kyle Korver (11), joined Scott and Brand in double figures.

The game marked the return of Teague, who missed the Hawks’ last two outings with an ankle injury.

Thaddeus Young had a game-high 29 points, eight rebounds and five steals to lead the 76ers. Rookie Michael Carter-Williams scored 17 points, dished out five assists and had four rebounds, Elliot Williams had 15 points and LaVoy Allen added 11 points and 10 rebounds.

The Hawks shot 50.6% from the field and 50.0% from three compared to 36.8% and 27.3% for the 76ers.

The Hawks are now 24-21 while the 76ers are 15-32.
