Seattle Seahawks defender Richard Sherman is a firm believer that he’s the best cornerback in the league.

Frankly, he has a point. So do a few others, which could include Darrelle Revis – at least according to Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy who suggested the Tampa Bay defender is a much better player than Sherman.

McCoy, appearing on Mad Dog Sports Radio said the difference between the two isn’t close and that Revis doesn’t need the help of safeties like Sherman.

"“I would take Darrelle Revis,” McCoy said. “He’s a better player. If you watch Darrelle Revis’ tape and take his best clips (and match them up against Sherman’s), it’s not even close. (Revis is) a lockdown defender. He doesn’t have tons of safety help. It’s, ‘Revis, we need you to lock him up.’ And he’s gonna get it done.”"

McCoy also said that Sherman is the player he’d least want as a teammate. Ouch.

What do you say FanSided? McCoy have a point suggesting Revis is a better defensive back than Richard Sherman? Or is he all wet?
