NBA Trade Rumors: Kyrie Irving losing confidence in Cleveland Cavaliers front office

It’s been a rough season for the Cleveland Cavaliers, as they’re currently 16-30 and out of reach of the Eastern Conference playoff picture. The Cavs sit over three games behind the Charlotte Bobcats for the eighth seed in the conference and they don’t seem to be getting any better any time soon.

This is likely why rumors have started to swirl about Kyrie Irving’s unhappiness in Cleveland and his desire to want to leave the team. There’s a disconnect between Irving and the rest of the team, specifically the front office, that may lead Cleveland losing another star five years after losing LeBron James.

Brian Windhorst from ESPN.com reports that the Cavaliers may not feel confident enough in Irving’s growth to max him out this summer, something that was brought up days ago. On Irving’s side of things, he’s apparently losing trust and confidence in the front office at a rapid pace, due most notably to his failure to click with Dion Waiters and the Cavs decision to draft Anthony Bennett last summer.

Either way, the situation n Cleveland is getting uglier and uglier with each update, and blowout losses to teams you’re competing with for a playoff spot won’t help make things better.
