NFL Commissioner Rogeer Goodell is giving his State of the NFL address on Friday, two days before the Seahawks and Broncos take the field for Super Bowl 48, and once again, the topic of marijuana was brought up, including Goodell’s role in the testing procedure.

Goodell was asked by one media member whether or not he was subjected to testing procedures for the drug, just as his players are. He admitted that yes, even he has to be tested for marijuana, and he has come back clean every time.

Marijuana has been a hot topic around the league recently, especially last week when Goodell admitted that he would consider legalizing the drug around the league if he were provided medical evidence that its use helps with the treatment of concussions.

It could be a while before that happens, but Goodell just admitting that is something you never thought you would hear, say, 10 years ago.
