Drew Brees appears on Dan Patrick Show (Video)

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees has been in the news quite often this week, despite the fact that he’s not taking part in Super Bowl 48.
Brees made the headlines on Wednesday when he suggested teammate Jimmy Graham is a tight end, not a wide receiver. And while technically he’d be correct, Graham is looking to get paid as a wide receiver when the Saints slap the franchise tag on him. So I’m sure Brees’ sentiment didn’t exactly sit well with his ‘tight end’ even though Brees said his answer was taken the wrong way and he had spoken to Graham since.
The signal caller also appeared on the Dan Patrick show while in town for the big game and was questioned about Graham, Patrick asking Brees if he’d defer some of his money to allow Graham to stay with the Saints moving forward.
His dumbfounded response was hilarious – though he did finally admit he would do it.
Brees also talks about the Saints playoff exit, technology and his children in what turned out to be a very entertaining interview.
