The Oklahoma City Thunder have been on a roll lately, taking over the Western Conference and jumping out to a four game lead over the San Antonio Spurs for the No. 1 seed in the West. All of this has been done without superstar point guard Russell Westbrook in the lineup, meaning the team could get even better than they are when he returns.

Thunder fans have been wondering when Westbrook will return and it appears that day may be closer than we think. According to Adrian Wojnarowski from Yahoo Sports, the thunder are targeting February 20th as a possible return date for Westbrook.

"There’s a post-All-Star break target date set for Westbrook, sources told Yahoo Sports – as soon as Feb. 20, hosting the Miami Heat"

Returning against the Heat would be a pretty epic time to make a comeback, and that seems to be when the Thunder want to roll Westbrook back out. But news of his return has both excited Thunder fans who want to see Westbrook back, and has also sent chills up the spines of the rest of the Western Conference. If The Thunder have been this good without Westbrook, how much better will they be with him back?
