The NFL Honors were handed out on Saturday night which meant we finally got to hear who would be walking away with the MVP this year. Unlike last year where it was a neck and neck race between Peyton Manning and Adrian Peterson, the Broncos quarterback ran away with the award in 2013.

Not that is surprised anyone, but Peyton Manning was named the NFL MVP for yet another time in his illustrious career.

Manning was the clear favorite to win the award, as he not only led the Broncos to one of the most impressive and historic offensives seasons ever, but he managed to shatter the single season touchdown record along the way. Manning’s record setting season extended beyond just touchdowns as he grabbed records in a slew of other offensive categories.

There will be debate about who the best quarterback ever is, and it’ll be a debated without resolution until the end of time. Nevertheless, one name that will always be mentioned near the top is Peyton Manning as he proved this season that regardless of age or health, he is without a doubt one of the best quarterbacks ever and the NFL honored him with the MVP because of that.
