What time is the Super Bowl? 2014 game start time and other information

The Super Bowl is approaching rapidly, that means planning parties, getting together snack food and stocking the bar. If you’re hosting the party what time should you invite people over? We got all the information you’ll need for the big game to plan accordingly.

The game will be worked by the FOX crew of Joe Buck and Troy Aikman. Buck will be doing the play-by-play while Aikman does the analysis. They’ll have Pam Oliver and Erin Andrews working the sidelines during the broadcast.

As far as musical entertainment goes, opera singer Renée Fleming will perform the National Anthem. Bruno Mars and Red Hot Chili Peppers will provide the halftime entertainment during the Pepsi Halftime show, and that is projected to begin at about 8 p.m..
