Former NFL quarterback Joe Namath was seen wearing a fur coat before the Super Bowl. That is right, just strolling the side line with a fur coat.

Take it easy folks the girl on the sideline is very likely his daughter.

    • silkdragon

His daughters will be so ashamed to be seen with him in that fur coat!

  • silkdragon

It’s so true that money can’t buy you class! What a jerk! Where’s PETA when you need them?

  • Sara

What a stupid man wearing fur sucks! Look at that old creepy man who wears the skin of poor animal who was eltrocuted.

  • Jay Fred

    Euthanize him!

  • Combat Override

Awesome. The best part will be watching the loonie lefties come unglued for the next month. More fun than watching the game.

    • EastOaklandPimp11

Do you also watch Lifetime (there was a great movie just after the game)? I am sure you’ll cute with the fur!

      • Combat Override

I didn’t say I thought it was attractive or that I would want one.

East Oakland Pimp… shouldn’t you be in jail like the rest of your family? Or are you writing from Santa Rita?

    • Leo Lion

Some quick research showed both Nancy Reagan and Jackie Kennedy wore fur. Jackie O even wore a leopard coat. Read this…”Before anyone slams all Republicans or all conservatives, keep in mind that Richard Nixon publicly praised wife Patricia Nixon’s choice of a “respectable Republican cloth coat” over a fur coat in 1952, and that PETA asked animal activists in 1989 to thank Barbara Bush for refusing to wear a fur coat for her husband’s inauguration. Animal issues cross party lines, and you’ll find quite a few Republicans with high marks on the Humane Society Legislative Fund’s Humane Scorecard. So…Mr. Moron Override…you again show how loonie tea baggers like you think everyone who is against killing animals for fur, (Namath’s coat was Mink) or who is for animal welfare is on the left. Both Barbara Bush and Pat Nixon are not lefties. Also many on the left wear real fur coats. People who are against killing animals for their fur cross party lines. They are liberal and conservatives…just as those wearing the fur come from all walks of life. You sir prove again how ignorant you are.

      • Combat Override

I never said “everyone” who is against fur is a liberal, did I? I simply said the loonie lefties will come unglued over this. And they have. I also said this would be more fun than watching the Super Bowl, which personally, I think is true. You’ve gone on a rant about something I never wrote. Reading comprehension isn’t your strong suit, is it? Focus, dude.

And if you are going to call someone a moron or make a personal attack, perhaps you should get your facts straight. Namath’s coat wasn’t a mink, it was a Mark Kaufman Furs design made from a coyote and fox mix. You have indeed proven your own ignorance.

        • nytransplnt .

@Combat Override, Are you so dim that you think being against the torture of animals depends on whether one is a Liberal or a Conservative. I see I.Q. isn’t your strong suit, is it?

          • nytransplnt .

@Combat Override: Here you go, since you are so callous.. You’ll probably enjoy watching an animal being terrified, hurt, and tortured to death. I hope you don’t have any family pets, because I truly fear for their safety.

          • Combat Override

Actually, I’ve had many dogs and cats as pets throughout my entire life. And they have been great companions who have lived wonderful lives.

I’ve also eaten steak, chicken, fish, etc almost every week. Contrary to the loonie animals rights people, most people can have pets as part of the family and eat meat at the same time.

The freaks who think people who eat meat somehow enjoy torture are just idiotic fanatics.

I’m not watching your video. No interest. I grew up around farms and know what it’s like to kill my own food. I took no pleasure out of killing animals, but am fully aware of where the meat that I eat comes from. I know where my leather boots and seats come from.

            Get over it.

          • nytransplnt .

Combat Override, You suffer from moral schizophrenia..to keep some animals as pets, yet pay people to torture and kill other animals. You won’t watch the video because you think you deserve to be shielded from the pain and suffering you cause—In short, you are a coward. You kill for luxury—no other animal does that. That makes you the freak. Get over it.

          • Combat Override

I’ll point out again for the slow that I’ve lived on a farm and killed animals for meat. I also fish for meat. I’m not “shielding” myself from anything.

The overwhelming majority of people in the country, and indeed the world, have no problem with eating meat or owning pets. It is you that have the unusual point of view. Feel free to live your life any way you wish and I’ll do the same.

          • nytransplnt .

At one time, the overwhelming majority supported slavery, sexism, homophobia, the holocaust, etc. Might does not make right..Never did; never will. In time, people evolve.

          • Combat Override

Allow me to write the same thing again for the incredibly stupid.

“I never said “everyone” who is against fur is a liberal, did I?”

            Clearly you’ve become unglued. My guess is that you’re a liberal. I don’t know. And I don’t care. Really… I don’t care.

  • Jessica Lee

I would like to thank all the little animals that made up Joe’s coat – giving your life up for fashion WAY TO GO! The coat is beautiful and every fur Joe ever wore was and is beautiful. He rocked it and everyone so upset about killing little animals get over it. I suppose you think those UGG boots the celebs walk around in our synthetic – Money doesn’t buy you class but having it can buy you the most beautiful clothes in the world.

    • Leo Lion

Money won’t get you through the eye of a needle either. This world is going to be a better place when you’re not in it.

    • nytransplnt .

Jessica Lee, You’re too much of a coward to watch this.

You’re a sick little girl Jessica Lee.

With all this global warming, the whiners will be wanting Inuit togs before long.

    • Leo Lion

The biggest whiners are Texans. People who are against raising animals for their fur, to make coats for the rich and famous are ethical. They are standing up for a better world. You know they are right. You know that it is immoral to slaughter animals for extravagant fur coats. The only defense you have is to resort to name calling. Texas is a big state. It is full of people. Too bad they are all losers. Texas is full of losers, like the Dallas Safari Club. I suppose you not only support killing canned lions, and shooting Rhinos, you get off on clubbing seals. :)

    Whether it came from
an animal on a fur farm or one who was trapped in the wild, every fur coat,
trinket, and bit of trim caused an animal tremendous suffering—and took away a
    life.

Animals on fur farms spend their entire lives confined to
cramped, filthy wire cages. Fur farmers use the cheapest and cruelest killing
methods available, including suffocation, electrocution, gas, and poison.

More than half the fur in the U.S. comes from China, where
millions of dogs and cats are bludgeoned, hanged, bled to death, and often
skinned alive for their fur. Chinese fur is often deliberately mislabeled, so
if you wear any fur, there’s no way of knowing for sure whose skin you’re in.

Animals who are trapped in the wild can suffer for DAYS from blood loss,
shock, dehydration, frostbite, gangrene, and attacks by predators.

They may be caught in steel-jaw traps that SLAM
down on their legs, often cutting to the bone; Conibear traps, which **crush
their necks** with 90 pounds of pressure per square inch; or water-set traps,
which leave beavers, muskrats, and other animals struggling for more than nine
    agonizing minutes before drowning.

There’s just no excuse for this barbaric, repulsive cruelty is
    there?

Please –PLEASE–have a heart. Thank you.

❝It’s a matter of taking the side of the weak against
the strong, something the best people have always done.

Many women are now attracted to men who can’t find their way out of the woods and not to the sort of men who own the woods.
