Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy had an event Super Bowl Week, with a Madden Bowl championship and winning the honor of FedEx Ground Player of the Year. However, there is one thing that would have made the week even better: a Super Bowl appearance.

While the individual awards are nice, McCoy made it clear that his next goal is to bring home a Super Bowl championship for the fine folks of Philadelphia.

“Now I need some rings,” McCoy said, via Zach Berman of the Philadelphia Inquirer.  “Philadelphia’s waiting, baby.

“Everybody’s excited about the players, the team, the things we’ve done this year. We’d love to be the up-and-coming team. And I can’t wait. . . . The first year, we learned more about the offense, about the mistakes. We had to get the wrinkles out. I’m excited to get back.”

The Eagles are rapidly improving and now that they have a full season of experience with Chip Kelly running the show under their belt, they could become a real threat next year.
