The situation with the Cleveland Cavaliers is only getting worse it seems. All weekend long there have been rumors swirling about Kyrie Irving being unhappy and wanting to leave, and that’s put a real damper on things in Cleveland. Andrew Bynum pointing the finger at the team didn’t help and quotes from Luol Deng saying that the team is a mess definitely won’t restore any faith in the team.
It’s for all of these reasons, plus the ugly losing that’s going on, that has the Cavs front office looking to make some serious changes to fix things in the 11th hour. According to Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon Journal, one such front office move could be to trade Dion Waiters before the deadline arrives later this month.
"Two sources close to the team confirmed that barring a significant turnaround before the trade deadline, this roster will likely face some upheaval. That very well could include Waiters, whose act has worn thin on his teammates and various members of the organization."
It’s clear that something needs to change in Cleveland, because if the team continues to spiral out of control, things will only get uglier as the disaster continues.
