NFL Rumors: Dez Bryant wants to stay with Dallas Cowboys for career

The Dallas Cowboys love Dez Bryant and Dez Bryant loves the Dallas Cowboys.

It’s a match made in heaven and one that isn’t going to end anytime soon, at least not if Bryant has any say about it.

The wide receiver took part in the Gridiron Celebrity Hoops charity event in Harlem this weekend and was questioned about his current status in Dallas by TMZ. Bryant wasted no time in suggesting that he wanted to remain with the Cowboys for the rest of his career.

“I don’t even think about leaving Dallas … I’m Dallas forever. It’s gonna stay that way.”

TMZ also asked Bryant who he thought was the best owner in the NFL. I’m pretty sure you can guess who he named.

The former Oklahoma State product had a wonderful season on the field, though it wasn’t without some typical drama. That said – when you produce like Bryant, you can often overlook the extra curricular dramatics.

just hope that the owner do not over paid this guy and hurt the team

Of course he wants to stay in Dallas…if the price is right. He’s not Herschel Walker but he has value and I think the Boys should trade him to some team “desperate” enough for a wide receiver to overpay for his services before we sign another huge, cap-debilitating contract, but then I have a very utilitarian view of football players. If you can get more than they are worth to you, you trade them; anytime, any position, any age.
Of course it won’t happen. He sells too many Jerseys.

So we should keep a 34 year old qb with back injuries for 3-4 years but trade a superstar wr?

This team should be built around Smith, Dez ,Lee, not Ware, Romo, Spencer.

Maybe you recall this time last year I was advocating trading Romo, Witten, Austin, Spencer, Ratliff, and Ware to rebuild the team. Everyone thought I was crazy but now after another disappointing 8-8 season and all the injuries none of those players have nearly the value they did then.

Trades are hard to make no one gives away good players unless it is contract or the player is a cancer to their team

I am sorry old frog I like you, but I must say I wouldn’t want to trade Dez for anyone in NFL. Just give him his fair due and sign a good qb.

Fair enough. That’s what makes a market.

        Good point
