Everything was running smoothly for the Seattle Seahawks as they dominated the Denver Broncos, but in the fourth quarter there was some unfortunate news for the team.

While he was attempted to break up a pass from Peyton Manning to Demaryius Thomas, Seahawks star cornerback Richard Sherman came down awkwardly and suffered an ankle injury. He needed help to get off the field, before being placed on the cart and being helped back to the locker room for further evaluation.

The Seahawks immediately said that Sherman had suffered a right ankle injury and he was doubtful to return.

With a 43-8 lead, there was no reason for the Seahawks to bring Sherman back onto the field.
