Super Bowl XLVIII did not get off to the kind of start that Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos were hoping for. Manning and the Broncos offense had the ball first, but a horrendous miscommunication led to the ball being sailed over Manning’s head and into the back of the endzone.

The play resulted in a Seahawks safety and gave them the early 2-0 lead.

During the play, Manning appeared to notice that the ball was sailing past his head and his eyes got incredibly big as he watched the Broncos give away two easy points.
