There’s no way around it – Super Bowl XLVIII was a complete disaster unless you were a Seattle Seahawks fan. The game itself was abysmal and even the commercials were rough.

I couldn’t even sit through the whole thing – needing to take a break come the fourth quarter so I could jam a pencil in my ear as that seemed like a more enjoyable experience.

So it’s pretty funny that New York Yankees first baseman Mark Teixeira asked fans not to ‘spoil’ the game for him as he recorded it and expects the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks will provide a ‘close game’.

If he only knew how bad these next four hours of his life was going to be.

Seems to me as if he needs that Doritos time machine, eh?

Also – how in the hell does Teixeira avoid not finding out the final score about the game? You couldn’t watch the news. Hell, you couldn’t even turn on the television. You couldn’t get on the internet. You couldn’t even listen to the radio.

He must be vacationing under a rock.
